Western Pacific Produce is the largest grower and packer of Broccoli from Mexico to the United States and Canada. We pack for export to Asia, retail, food service, processors and Chinese wholesalers.
Founded in California in 1990, Western Pacific Produce is a grower, supplier and international shipper of high-quality fresh produce. Since its inception, Western Pacific Produce has evolved into a full-service produce company, operating as a year round grower, importer, exporter, shipper and distributor of safe, high-quality broccoli and other fresh vegetables from the United States, Mexico, and Canada. At Western Pacific we strive to produce the highest quality vegetables available.
This is why years ago we moved our winter growing operations to Central Mexico. We grow our vegetables in Mexico in an area described as having some of the most fertile soil in the world.The extremely fertile land and the temperate climate in our growing regions of Mexico allow us to have a superior product during the winter months. During the summer we pack and ship primarily from higher elevation farms in the Puebla region of Mexico.
THE HISTORY OF VESTAL RANCH AND THE VESTAL FAMILY
Mark Vestal, co-founder of Western Pacific Produce along with his wife Diana, was born into ranching and farming family in beautiful McArthur, California between Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen. The ranch was originally settled by homesteaders through a land grant signed by Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th president of the United States of America in 1876. The ranch has been operated and continually farmed for six generations of the Vestal family.
